Thanks @Forbes & @esh2440 for spotlighting our growing movement — and Ben Peterson / @Walmart for sharing your thoughts on how to move the Lawn & Garden category towards a more regenerative and organic future! We're grateful for the partnership. 🙏🌱
"Retailers are really doubling on Back to the Roots as the next-gen brand that can compete against and offer an alternative to legacy players...Today, their gardening brand is sold in Walmart, Target, Lowes, The Home Depot, and on Amazon. They’ve 10x their growth, says Arora, with consumers spending approximately $100 million on Back to the Roots products. And while it’s not been a smooth ride all along, facing the bumps that any business is bound to hit, they have remained true to their desire for an eco-friendly gardening company."

Well, what a fantastic week. Thank you @TEDTalks for hosting such a brilliant #TEDWomen2023. I must say there was more than a little trepidation - but there really should not have been. There were so many outstanding talks. On day 1 @Dasha_Navalnaya spoke passionately about the plight of her father #AlexeyNavalny who has now been in a Russian prison for 1,000 days. #AvaDuVerney spoke about her new movie, Origin, and how she is working to make sure that every 16-year-old in the US can see the film for free. On day 2 @Dianagfoster spoke so movingly about abortion and women's right to choose backed by quantitative research. @esh2440 introduced me to 'regeneration' (businesses that go beyond #greenwashing in order to make a tangible difference) and yes I did buy a pair of @vejaproject shoes! @JAY4HOPE told us his story that started in a barbershop and how he is inspiring and empowering black entrepreneurs. Reed Williams ended the day so eloquently describing her journey as a transgender child. On the final day, @SashaMTL raised so many important issues around #AI and highlighted the carbon footprint of "algorithms that tell us knock knock jokes". @ruha9 spoke so well about the role of technology in democracy. @MASieghart pulled no punches in her discussion about the "The Authority Gap".
All of the talks were brilliant and are in the process of being published by #TED here: ted.com/talks.
I'm sure there will be news about #TEDxSheffield2024 @TEDxSheffield very soon 😎
