Three first-half goals put London in control, before a penalty gave Essex Ambulance a lifeline to make it 3-1 at the break. London responded strongly in the second half, controlling possession and adding further goals to extend their lead. Substitutions made a positive impact, creating more opportunities, although the score could have been higher with greater composure in front of goal. Credit to Essex Ambulance for their effort and persistence, but London’s quality and control shone through after the break. @firefighters999 @WalkandTalk999 @Awards_FC_ @SKkits2 @kordsport @SportsafeUK @bogie_david @NonLeagueCrowd @trailgroupltd @Alphatracksyst @PlumisAutomist @serveandprotect

Full time @ESFL20 @serveandprotect @ECFRS 3 - 2 @LFBfootballclub Goals: N Mottley, S king Man of the match: S King A disappointing day on the road for London, who suffered their second consecutive defeat this time against @ECFRSFootball . London started the brighter of the two sides, creating opportunities but lacking the quality in the final third to make their pressure count. After Essex enjoyed a spell of possession, London found a breakthrough with a well-taken finish to take a 1–0 lead. However, London took their foot off the gas, allowing an energetic and determined Essex side to take control. Two quick counter-attacks caught London off guard, with Essex turning the game around to head into half-time 2–1 ahead. LFB came out on the front foot after the break, looking to get back into the game, but once again struggled to find the quality needed in the final third to break down a disciplined and well-organised Essex defence. Essex continued to exploit the space available and extended their lead to 3–1. London rolled up their sleeves and pushed hard in search of a way back into the contest. Despite applying pressure, the final ball and clinical finishing were missing for much of the afternoon. With just five minutes remaining, London managed to pull one back to make it 3–2, setting up a tense finish. However, there simply wasn’t enough time to find an equaliser. Another frustrating result for London, who will know there is plenty to improve on, particularly in both boxes. Credit to Essex, who showed greater desire, discipline and effectiveness on the counter-attack to secure the three points. @firefighters999 @WalkandTalk999 @Awards_FC_ @SKkits2 @kordsport @SportsafeUK @bogie_david @NonLeagueCrowd @trailgroupltd @Alphatracksyst @PlumisAutomist @serveandprotect
