It wasn't to be our day today, as Billericay Town FC crashed out of the Emirates FA Cup at the 1st attempt in the 2nd qualifying round, losing 1-3 to Enfield Town at Pulse Stadium New Lodge. The Blues opened the scoring, just before the break, through Benton, however, Enfield Town hit back within minutes and the teams went in level at half time. In the 2nd half, the away side hit 2 more without reply. A disappointing performance. We move on to National League South action next Saturday, when Torquay United make the long trip up to Essex.
