The world that produced Brexit no longer exists. Trump is less reliable, Putin is more dangerous and Europe is having to defend itself. Britain cannot respond to that new reality while voluntarily tying its own hands.

BREAKING: HELL YES! Texas gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa sues Greg Abbott to obtain the "embarrassing" and "intimate" emails sent between his office and Elon Musk's minions.
We cannot wait to read these in full...
"Nobody here is accusing Greg Abbott of having a torrid love affair with Elon Musk,” Rep. Hinojosa said. "What this is about is we have the world’s only trillionaire getting massive tax breaks from this governor after giving him over $500,000 in campaign contributions."
The lawsuit seeks to obtain over a thousand pages of communication which — given what we know about Musk's underhanded methods and blatant favor-buying through donations — could be extremely damaging to Abbott and the Republican Party's already-toxic brand.
Numerous Musk companies are based in Texas, including SpaceX, Starlink, Tesla, X, and xAI. He donated $500,000 to Abbott's campaign and $250,000 to Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows. At the same time, Musk has received billions in tax incentives and tens of millions in grants. From the outside looking in, it certainly looks like quid pro quo.
If there's nothing untoward in these emails, why won't Abbott just release them?
The Texas Newsroom filed a public records request to obtain the documents in 2025, but Abbott's office objected to the release and remarkably corrupt Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sustained the objections, with an order to release some of the materials. They were heavily redacted.
“The people of Texas and the people of House District 49 are concerned over the growing power of tech giants in Texas regarding our tax dollars, resources, and data,” Hinojosa wrote in a letter to Abbott in September, asking to review the redacted information. “In light of the expanding influence of tech CEOs in Texas and the close working relationship between government and the corporate tech industry, transparency is essential for accountability, which is why I’m writing.”
In her new lawsuit, Hinojosa revealed that Abbott rejected her request. Now, she's escalating the fight.

Is it too much to hope that Trump’s betrayal of Ukraine and his sucking up to a murderous dictator who despises all that is good about America will further damage him in the mid-terms rather than, as he hopes, help him? If it is the latter then we really have to wonder whether the problem with America goes a lot deeper than Trump, and will outlive him.

Canada–USA relations were built on decades of friendship, trust and mutual respect.
Then Donald Trump came along and took a fucking sledgehammer to all of it.
That’s why 41 million Canadians are united like never before in checking the obituaries every passing fucking day. 💀

This is so racist and sickening.
A man stands up at JD Vance’s rally and says “release the Epstein files”.
Vance then implies that he’s an illegal immigrant, because of his skin color.

For those old enough to remember the ITV documentary is nothing new
UKIP 2014
The same lack of discipline
The same lack of accountability
The same faces around the same Leader
A man who postures but is no Leader
An antagonist throughout his career
In it for the attention not the job
Second lowest attendance as an MEP
Mirroring that in Parliament
2024 issues that were nothing to do with him repeated in 2026
Racism, misogyny, sexism
2014 excuses, pub talk, banter, the Establishment are out to get me
Limited action or no action - people resign on personal grounds instead of being ejected from Reform
A major issue - many now sitting as Independents with the same attitudes, beliefs and social media histories
It's a far wider issue than the documentary content and many more will be exposed
The same FAILURE and that FAILURE is Farage

BREAKING: WOW! A brave protestor stood up behind JD Vance at a rally and demanded the release of the Epstein files — and Vance's response was DISGUSTING.
This man cannot be allowed to become President...
While Vance was yammering on about "woke insanity" at an event in North Carolina, a man stood up directly behind him in the crowd and shouted "Release the Epstein files" and “God bless our children!" Security swooped in and quickly dragged him out of the venue, at which point he yelled out that he is an American citizen.
Vance, who is an awful retail politician and never quick on his feet in moments like this, awkwardly turned around and looked at the man as the MAGA supporters began to boo.
"USA!" chanted the crowd, because apparently these people associate their American nationalism with protecting pedophiles and supporting the most infamous child sex trafficking network in history.
Once the man was gone, Vance took a moment to gather his flustered thoughts, and then put that trademark lack of charisma on full display—
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna have to amend something I said earlier... I said that we have had zero illegal border crossings in the United States of America," said Vance. “But one isn’t bad right?”
The implication, obviously, was that the protestor was an undocumented immigrant simply because he was nonwhite. This is the rank racism that passes for political thinking in the MAGA movement.
Notice how Vance didn't actually address the man's point, and instead pivoted immediately to racebaiting? He knows that the Epstein issue is a radioactive anchor hanging around his neck. When he inevitably runs for President himself, everyone in this country who isn't in the MAGA cult will associate him with the Epstein coverup.
Vance chose loyalty to his boss, a demented pedophile whose name is all over the files, over loyalty to the victims and to this country. He's praying that we'll forget. We will not.
Please ❤️ and share if you think that Vance is forever stained by Epstein!

🚨 The £5m story just got more awkward.
Farage said the money was for security.
Then he said it was a reward for Brexit.
Now his own close aide, Dan Jukes, has been secretly recorded saying the reward explanation was not the press office line, the official line was security.
Meanwhile Farage had reportedly told senior Reform figures shortly beforehand that becoming an MP would cost him about £1m a year in lost earnings.
Farage and Christopher Harborne deny wrongdoing.
🤔 What exactly was the £5m for?
