A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Nothing says “fighting NATO expansion” quite like bombing a historic building of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences in central Kyiv, forcing ordinary scientists to jump from windows to escape death in the fire.
This has been done by fascist barbarians stripped of the last remnants of reason and conscience by impunity and endless appeasement, obsessed with senseless violence, destruction, and atrocities.

1: Let’s talk about Steve Witkoff, because I think the narrative of him being a “useful idiot” is a dangerous trap to walk in.
It’s darker than that.
Witkoff has spent three decades swimming in russian money, russian mob circles, and russian real-estate pipeline.
A thread 🧵

New: @InsiderEng, @derspiegel, @ZDF and Der Standard spent a year tracking the movements of Europe's most wanted man, Jan Marsalek, the fugitive ex-COO of disgraced German fintech company Wirecard. Marsalek lives in Moscow. He works for the FSB. He travels under several fake identities. He got a lousy hair transplant. He's a sometime combatant in the Russian war on Ukraine. Oh, and he also tried to have our editors @christogrozev and @Dobrokhotov kidnapped. theins.press/en/inv/284980

USC President Kim asked me for my thoughts about Charlie Kirk at USC’s Democracy Day celebration.
There’s something more important than my message in this video. It’s what you don’t hear. No heckling. No disrespect. No shouting.
I know that social media shows us the worst of humanity, and a few people celebrating a death will get more attention than hundreds of respectful people.
Don’t let these companies and the rage influencers that profit from them convince you the worst of us are the most of us. They are a tiny minority that gets too much attention because anger makes you post, repost, and like.
This was an audience of almost 500 students, and zero disrespect. That’s how most of the real world outside of the internet is. If you find yourself falling for the anger, go out in the real world and make yourself human again.

Yes, this is fascism.
For years, historians and experts were cautious about using the f-word to describe today's events. But that hesitation is gone now. 🧵
