Ready or Not 2: Here I Come In The Ass

One of the silver linings to being so ill over the last week and a half is that I may have broken my caffeine addiction - think all the cold turkey symptoms were masked by endless even worse symptoms.

The brief rallying with my weight has now ended and I’m now back down below where I was a few days ago. Even after starting to eat fuller meals again, and drinking litres of fluids and electrolytes, just can’t seem to halt things. Hoping docs can give answers next week.

So the rapid weight loss finally paused yesterday morning after dropping 17lb in 4 days - still struggling to reverse it by much, currently about 15lb down. Been prodded and poked by the docs today, vitals all in line, now just need to go back tomorrow with a sample... #Joy

Now reached one stone down since the start of the weekend. Need to stem the tide rather quickly… Have just managed to eat a slice of wholemeal toast - first food in over 60 hours. Stomach is being very noisy about this.

Woke up Saturday with the start of what felt like a bad cold. Jump to Saturday night, whole body sweats and crippling stomach cramps. Followed by two days either in bed or on the loo, and unable to eat. On the plus side, have dropped about 10lb.

I don’t live within Manchester, so wasn’t involved in the vote. But I’m off into Manchester tomorrow, and I can’t explain how relieved I am that I’m not going to be heading into Reform Country.
