When you talk to successful founders, they always wish they'd hired fewer top managers from outside. I don't think I've ever met a founder who wished he or she had promoted fewer people from within.

The consistent advice is, "don't hire big tech execs"
The fundamental problem is that they've been RL'ed by an environment in which success is measured by headcount. They will make your company bloated and ineffective because in their experience, that's what success looks like

With my colleague Dimiter Kramer at @DeepInfra, we proved the Courtade–Kumar conjecture. We show that a delicate refinement of the conjecture, incorporating the output bias, admits an induction on dimension.

The discourse about job hopping is missing the point IMO, you can pack 5 years of experience within 2 years at a fast paced company with high growth, or you spend 5-10 years doing the same thing at a slower paced company whether it's a startup or bigger, doesn't matter.
iphone or kindle haven't really been the best products out there for a while now but I feel stuck with them.

This is one @restatedev cell during the time when @Replit launched the free mode for their agent.
Close to 25k durable actions/sec in a single cell. And there are quite a few cells. Makes this probably one of the highest volume durable execution use cases out there.
