Despite the challenges exhibited in her final moments, #AnneHeche was a really talented actress. May she Rest In Peace. #annehecheaccident

While you’re asking good questions you should check out the meeting @randyjsmasal shared today discussion school options for fall. They invited community members to share ideas. Sounds like a 4-day week was part of that conversation.

Its enjoyable/cathartic for me to write these longer semi-random threads & people seem to appreciate them as they can like and/or retweet the whole thread or individual tweets in the thread if so inclined (h/t to @MarkChangizi for teaching me how to tweet 🤣)
So here goes

This is an astounding thread that distills policy, politics, Covid rates, climate/seasonality and collateral damage of lockdowns in just a handful of slides. Devastating snapshot of a year.

It's time to END the slate of @EducationMN agents that arrive in waves of local school board elections.

@Nicole2MN you’re not alone. Keep asking questions ...are we keeping healthy kids in or out of school with @EducationMN @mnhealth policies?
You can't support kids with special needs and keep them out of schools. The data is conclusive that kids, especially those with special needs, need to be IN SCHOOL. You can't have this both ways. #thedatathedata
Where is your source? @heather_edelson has supported children with special needs with every vote.

Many teachers had to work much harder with Dl and hybrid Denise Specht @EducationMN spent her time at her lake cabin, sipping tea& hunting down new recipes for her breakfast pastries. Ed Mn union leadership was not & is not, "with" ED MN members through the pandemic in any way

Here’s what I genuinely don’t get, @mnhealth @edinaschools @EdinaParents4 every metric (hospitalizations, -%positive, iCU beds, knowledge of virus/treatment, avail PPE, death rate, is better than this fall, but our restrictions and ability to plan have gotten worse

It would be great if @GovTimWalz was able to do some research while he’s quarantining.
Pretty sure all school is 5 days a week in Iowa and the kids aren’t required to mask while playing sports. That’s how Gov. use emergency powers for good.
Iowa removed all state-level #COVID19 restrictions on February 7th, yet the trajectory of its case curve has still not deviated at all from its neighbors' average. Weird!

We have gathered evidence showing that some SB members are collaborating with a group of dangerous individuals that are doxing, harassing, & cyberstalking openfcps parents as a means to stifle free speech by threatening our families & our livelihoods.

Cannot take it 💔💔. My niece’s shining friend, classmate, athlete, student who took his life this week. 💔 Age 15, in a neighboring school district. Our children are suffering so much. Who is speaking for them, hearing them, advocating for them??
Opening schools is critically important. We all know this. This group is laying out the path. Read, engage, join us.
We are parents, students, teachers coming together to #openschools choice for in-person learning all grades. Here’s what we’ve been sending/reading this week... @LetThemLearnMN @schools_us @Ts4OpenSchools
A little? It's astonishing.

Even I’m starting to get skeptical about “announcements”
Maybe we should having breaking news announcements every day the kids aren’t given the choice to be in school...Feels like we’re a little complacent with our educational status here in MN
