Of the hundreds of books I've written, these were the two that Anthropic decided to steal. Wild they were trained on Voltron Legendary Defender and Hotel Transylvania 2 media tie-ins. (S&S is great and so are the original copyright holders. I'll always be mad that my em dashes trained Anthropic as a simple work-for-hire author who got something like $500 to $1,000 when she was 25.) I hope the settlement milks them. My em dashes were worth more than gold--especially the amount of times I'd google "--" so I could copy/paste a nice em dash! (Now I leave the double hyphen so it's obvious I didn't use AI.)

The flydubai incident is a good litmus test to see if people who claim they aren’t Nazis or Nazi-esque can condemn an attempt to kill a plane full of Israelis without excusing it, minimizing it, “contextualizing” it, or deciding the victims had it coming.
