Democracy and citizenship go beyond electoral politics, says @ericpliu, CEO of @CitizenUniv on the Giving Done Right podcast from Center for Effective Philanthropy (@CEPData). He also talks about when to engage in bridging divides and when that may be unproductive, and speaks to the importance of inviting youth into the conversation. Listen in: bit.ly/3NdWjF1

When he talks about writers changing or saving the world, I think of @ericpliu, @cmclymer, bell hooks, @helenwan1, Dr. Jenny Wang & others who’ve helped excavate how I feel & solidify my values through their words.
