Republican Mike Turner was warned the Big Beautiful Bill would cost Ohioans their insurance and close hospitals. He voted yes anyway. So Air Force vet and nurse practitioner @KnickerbockerOH is running to replace him, and she's up 3 against a 20 year incumbent.

In 1963, a man in Turkey discovered the underground city of Derinkuyu while renovating his home. The city was first built around 1200 BC by the Hittites and later expanded by other groups, including early Christians. It goes down 18 levels and has rooms like chapels, stables, and spaces for making wine and olive oil. At its peak, Derinkuyu could shelter about 60,000 people, keeping them safe during invasions.

These Ancient Faces Have Watched Over the Desert for More Than 1,000 Years… But What Were They Trying to Tell Us? Hidden among the towering sandstone cliffs of Utah, USA, are mysterious carvings left behind by Native American people centuries ago. Some show human-like figures with unusual shapes and horned headdresses, while others depict bighorn sheep and other animals that once roamed these rugged lands. Known as petroglyphs, these images were carefully carved into the rock by people of the ancient Fremont culture, who lived across parts of the American Southwest between roughly 300 and 1300 CE. What makes these carvings so fascinating is that they have survived for centuries, exposed to the harsh desert sun, wind, and changing seasons. They offer rare clues about how these ancient communities lived, hunted, and understood the world around them. Some figures look almost otherworldly, leaving modern visitors wondering whether they represent important people, spiritual beliefs, or stories passed down through generations. Yet their exact meanings remain uncertain, and many of their secrets may never be fully understood. Imagine standing in a silent desert canyon, surrounded by enormous stone walls, and suddenly noticing a human figure carved into the rock more than a thousand years ago. The person who created it is long gone, but their artwork remains. These are more than ancient markings—they are messages from a world we are still trying to understand. 📍 Location: Utah, American Southwest Source: National Park Service — Fremont Culture and ancient petroglyphs: "Capitol Reef National Park

I asked my boss for a raise. He said, "Show me what you actually do all day." I said, "Understood." The next morning, I sent him a calendar invite for every single task I did. "8:30–8:45: Fix the payroll error from the night shift." "8:45–9:10: Answer the client who emails at 6am." "9:10–9:15: Explain the payroll error to the night shift." By lunch, I'd sent him 23 invites. By 5pm, 47. His phone buzzed all day. He accepted every single one. On Thursday, his assistant came to my desk. She said, "He wants to see you. He's got all 47 printed out..."

This is not good. Russell Vought is the author of Project 2025, which Trump has been faithfully executing since Day 1. Project 2025 is based on unitary executive power. Here are the things they've already done: - Replaced career civil servants - Direct control of the DOJ and "law enforcement" - Dismantling independent agencies - Bypassing Congress for funds that were already appropriated Here's what's left: - Using emergency powers It advocates for aggressive deployments of executive authority, including misusing the Insurrection Act to suppress domestic protests or bypass traditional legislative checks. There's always a tell with Trump. "In a few weeks." The midterms is his Coup 2.0.
Trump shouts out Russ Vought and then says, ominously, "we have some big surprises coming up in a few weeks, right Russ? He's gonna be one of the important people in the history of our country."
