I love that New York gets access to movies early, something I missed while living in RVA and something I had become accustomed to living in Los Angeles. What I hate about watching movies in New York: The people. I’ve never been around a more annoying and childish audience.
The disregard for others movie experience feels more rampant here than any other city I’ve watched movies in. Lames laughing hella loud at jokes that aren’t THAT funny, people being 45-50 mins late to a screening, noisy food packaging from food that they snuck into the theater…
I want @AMCTheatres to take a page from @alamodrafthouse book of house rules and stop letting people into screenings after trailers. The flexibility is being abused and it’s time to remind people that you can’t show up to a movie an hour late.
Beautiful movie. And I’m so happy all of Mahershala’s training for that movie we shall not name didn’t go to waste. 10/10 😮💨🤌🏾
