Who are the biggest buyers in CRE?
Through the first seven months of 2025, the @LightBoxRE CRE Transaction Tracker followed $160B+ in deals, with new players stepping in and very few repeat buyers.
The Top 10 investors so far this year include Blackstone Infrastructure, Starwood Property Trust, and LG Energy Solution. It’s a clear sign that liquidity is still moving, but according to LightBox data, investors are more selective about asset type, size, and fundamentals.

In Q2 2025, multifamily led the way on @LightBoxRE's RCM platform, making up 36% of listings, followed by retail at 17% and land at 14%.
