Would you rather have: $10k MRR from one app you hate maintaining or $1k MRR from ten apps you'd happily build again

"You're 34 and still don't have kids?" I do. They're just running in 4 different terminals.

I genuinely don't recognize my country anymore. I've spent most of the past year traveling around Asia and Europe. I just came back to France, and in less than 48 hours I've already witnessed two riots, tear gas being fired in the streets, shops getting smashed, and people running everywhere. At one point I could barely breathe because of the tear gas. I grew up here. This is my home. I have so many good memories of this country, and I still love so much about it. But coming back after spending so much time abroad really hits differently. You start noticing things you used to consider normal. The tension, the anger, the feeling that something could kick off at any moment. I'm not saying the rest of the world is perfect. Far from it. But it's genuinely depressing to come back to your own country and feel less at peace than you did thousands of kilometers away. I love France. I hate what it's becoming. And for the first time in my life, I don't think I want to live here anymore.

Underrated life advice: become difficult to rush. The worst decision of my career was a fast one. I said yes to a cofounder in 24 hours. He pushed me out, and the company raised €6M without me. The best thing I built was slow. 18 months of posting before I sold anything. Most deadlines people put on you are fake. Pause anyway.

Made $41,816 last month. Best month of my life. October won't look like this. $17,734 of it came from a cohort that's now closed. Posting it anyway. I posted the €0 months too.

Everything I have today came from asking again. - Apple rejected my first app 10 times. Submission 11 went live. - My first 29 shorts flopped. Number 30 hit 160K views. - I posted for 18 months before a stranger paid me. Life keeps handing you lottery tickets. You only need one to hit.

My cost of living in Valencia 🇪🇸 vs Bali 🇮🇩 🇪🇸 VALENCIA 🏠 Apartment: $1,600 🥘 Food: $600 🚇 Metro + scooter: $30 🏋️ Gym: $30 📱 Phone + internet: $7 Total: $2,267/month 🇮🇩 BALI 🏠 Villas + hotels: $1,000 🍳 Food (never cooked): $400 🛵 Scooter: $60 🏄 Surfing: $40 💆 Massages: $30 📱 Phone + internet: $30 Total: $1,560/month Bali wins on price. Valencia wins on walkability, infrastructure, and proximity to family. The older I get, the more I realize: Cheap living isn't always a better life.
