When competitors get lost in these ultra long races, the men refuse to ask for directions
Please let me have:
- short button press for single grok assisted command (groks figures out when command is probably over and closes)
- long button press for indefinite length grok conversation

Every time Musk negotiates a new package, people think it’s about greed. It’s not, it’s about leverage. He doesn’t want a paycheck; he wants permission to build at full throttle. $TSLA
Can we have face recognition to replace pin to drive in our @Tesla? PIN would stay as a backup when face is not recognized.

in my view, the root causes are credit growth and lack of economic opportunities for middle people.
Credit growth debases the currency, pumps new money into the housing market faster than the pace at which new houses can be built.
Offshoring of manufacturing, for example, has hurt economic opportunities for ordinary people.
Places like China devalue their currency hard making them "cheaper". in my view, there is no such thing as "cheap labor". Certainly, some regulatory factors, unions, etc have an impact, but I believe that currency devaluation by "cheap labor" countries is the bigger culprit.
If there was a real growth in economic opportunities for ordinary people, the rich would invest their wealth in it and fuel further growth.
I am no economist, not yet a successful trader, so please tell me where I am wrong!

The argument that education alone can drive widespread EV adoption is unconvincing and overlooks human behavior. I’ve owned a Tesla for five years, and despite thoroughly educating my friends about its benefits, they remain unconvinced. This mirrors my experience with high-efficiency light bulbs: no amount of education persuaded my circle to switch because what they were already doing worked well enough, and they saw no compelling reason to change. LEDs only became ubiquitous after incandescent bulbs were banned, forcing the shift. Similarly, smartphones became essential when those without them could no longer keep up with societal communication norms, like texting or using apps.
The historical shift from horses to cars, which occurred within a single decade (1907–1917), illustrates this pattern. Cars didn’t dominate because people were educated about their benefits; they became a must-have because horses couldn’t keep up with the pace of modern life—roads were redesigned for cars, and those who didn’t switch were left behind. Cost parity alone isn’t enough to drive mass adoption of a new technology. The new product must be something people can’t live without, offering a transformative advantage that makes the old way obsolete.
For EVs, that transformative advantage lies in autonomous vehicles (AVs). The real game-changer isn’t lower emissions or fuel savings—it’s the ability to reclaim time, arrive home safely when tired or drunk, and eliminate the hassle of parking. These benefits make AVs a “can’t live without” product, much like cars were compared to horses. Short of banning internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, only this level of disruption will push EV adoption to a tipping point. Elon Musk is right to go all-in on autonomy; anything less is a distraction from the true driver of change. Education might help at the margins, but it’s not the catalyst—making EVs indispensable is.
I don't have access to the article, but it seems there are highly leveraged players on a huge basis trade. How would this affect TLT if the interest rates do not go according to their plan @Micro2Macr0 ?
LL: wow, need ZH premium but worth it to see this. Rumors appear to be correct. Fed will use swaps to save basis trade players like Citadel. @RudyHavenstein

Elon Musk: “I think colleges are basically for fun and to prove you can do your chores, but they're not for learning – You don't need college to learn stuff – You can learn anything you want for free.”
I just drove FSD (carefully) through a blizzard 🥶. I gave some pointers @teslasi , listen to the voice notes!
so after waiting for weeks for @E3DOnline Revo PZ to be in stock, I promptly connected it to 24V. Disaster right? No! I actually reversed the polarity as well, so the reverse polarity actually saved the board! Sheesh!
