Ummmm. Guys. Did this really just happen to me? Did @JohnCena really just follow me. I'm shook.

I've been talking with my business partner, @ericchowreal quite a bit about some of the challenges facing professionals within the personal branding industry.
Two challenges came to mind...
1. A lack of awareness 👁️
2. A lack of education 🍎

Europeans can be in amazing shape & live to 100+ while:
• Eating carbs 24/7
• Rarely going to the gym
• Drinking alcohol every day
But when Americans do it?
They become obese & get sick.
It took some time...
But I think I found what EXACTLY is going on:

Want acceptance? Seek to accept before you seek to be understood.
The universe doesn’t give you what you want. The universe only reflects your inner state of being.

I’ve started hosting weekly “office hours” with the Chief Consultant of my firm @ericchowreal where we sit down for an hour or two and work on tasks that can help @MashmanVentures

The issue with most people is not that their ideas are bad, it’s that they don’t stick with one idea long enough to make it work.
Bounce from idea to idea in the beginning to learn what you like and don’t like, but eventually you need to land on something more permanent.

Do the real thing. Life's too short to dance around your dreams. When you plan, learn, strategize, you really are procrastinating.
You're thinking. Wondering if the battle is worth it. Most spend their lives in this productive limbo- working on everything, except the actual work.
Get up, and jump off the cliff. Embrace risk. Embrace fate. The arena will become home. You won't feel ready. You won't feel worthy. But that's good. Use the reasons you should fail, as fuel to just win.

My favorite quote.
Get clear on your vision and values.
Establish them as a strong base.
Evaluate any advice you receive critically, weighing it against your base.
Most advice should probably be ignored.
Even if it is useful for the person giving it, it may not fit your:
- Constraints
- Goals
- Work/Life balance preference
- Stage of the journey
Assuming you’re clear on your base values and your current habits aren’t actively sabotaging them, any advice you do adopt should be tested in small doses.
Ideally it only shifts your base slightly.
Don’t make wild changes or chase shiny objects.
