They'll do anything and go anywhere in their PJs without a single care. ๐คฃ
This is not very profound but not only can you just do things, you don't even have to be perfectly prepared to do them.
It took me way too long to become this easy going.
Want to have a baby? Have a baby.
Want to go climbing after dropping your kids off at school but you forgot your climbing pants? Climb in your full sleeve shirt and jeans no one cares.
Want to run but you are walking the dog wearing sandals? Run in sandals.
We're going on a trip. Did we forget anything? Doesn't matter, we can just buy it when we get there. KEVIN!

I've been a software engineer for over 18 years, beginning with an internship using the LAMP stack while in college.
My first job after college involved both Java and C#.
My next gig was for a defense contractor where I worked with C++ and Java.
Next, at an applied science consultancy, I focused on C#, JavaScript, and Java.
Eventually, I transitioned to a Python role with minimal Python experience because I wanted to learn the language.
Now, I still focus on Python, but one thing I've learned: languages evolve, and so do we.
Oh, I almost forgot.
I also shipped multiple (sponsored!) games using ActionScript 3 (might've dated myself a bit there ๐ด) and a commercial game using @HaxeFlixel.
Languages are cool and all, but they're just a means to an end. Shipping things is what matters. ๐ข

I recently picked up a Steam Deck!
As anyone with a game on Steam would do, the first game I booted up was @thewolfsbite. It plays quite well on the deck!
It's been years since The Wolf's Bite was released. Now, my two daughters are old enough to read and can play the game against each other!
