a little gameplay from Ergod World, the browser-based MMO I’m building with Three.js + Claude Opus5.5, Codex/Astra/Sol & Gemini/Argon, along with all my aspirational mmo ideas/experience and past experiments somewhat baked in at this point. my loop: visual concepts → build → playtest → critique → iterate. slowly turning systems into a world 🌿 #indiedev #gamedev #vibedev

I'm 15 dollars richer, this might go towards server hardware if things pop off. :P

a few days away from off-hours vibe coding because, apparently, there were no off hours. somehow still refreshing. we had a big work event, and getting to spend time with the whole team and the community in person was a lot of fun. over the past year i’ve been building custom software, databases, and automations that support animal care. it’s easy to get absorbed in making the systems work and lose sight of how they fit into someone else’s workday, or an animal’s recovery. being around everyone was a good reminder of that connection. the people using these tools are colleagues i care about, doing work i care about, for a community i got to spend time with. i spend a lot of my free time thinking about what to build next. it was nice to pause and appreciate what the work is already contributing to.

Replying to @thsottiaux
@thsottiaux good morning - if you need something to fix today, dot cloud sessions have been broken for me (and others) on Windows since day one: failed agent handoffs, disconnects, usage-limit errors despite available usage, and screenshots I can’t open from the session even though they’re on my own device. The Windows pathing issue has been there for weeks. I’m spending my usage babysitting broken tooling instead of building my game. I appreciate the resets, but they aren’t progress when that usage goes straight back into fighting the same bugs. @OpenAI

I'm like 1 day and some motivation from stopping use of codex app and just route my usage through another harness or find alternatives cause your UI UX support is 💩

PROMPT: Model Ambry’s Measure Tower as a complete, enterable building assembled from reusable architectural parts. Preserve its octagonal stone tower, offset stair turret, curved library wing, working courtyard, and timber-and-bronze suspension crown. It should feel structurally convincing and carefully crafted at walking distance. The model deliverable should include: Complete architecture: exterior walls, foundations, buttresses, floors, ceilings, roofs, window reveals, doorways, stairs, landings, galleries, and railings. Interior spaces must fit inside the exterior. Usable circulation: connected entrances, rooms, stairs, and upper galleries, with believable human clearance. Reserve the central void for the suspended measuring apparatus. Reusable building parts: straight and angled wall bays, curved library bays, arches, windows, doors, buttresses, floor sections, stair sections, roof sections, timber brackets, and railings. Keep distinctive landmark pieces custom. Organized components: clearly named objects grouped by building section and floor. Doors, shutters, winding drums, and suspended mechanisms remain separate, with correctly placed pivots. Finished materials: coordinated stone, timber, bronze, roof tile, and glass, with clean UVs and consistent surface detail. Repeated parts should share materials. Editable and exportable files: an organized .blend containing the assembled building and a separate kit collection, plus a .glb export. Include simple collision geometry separately from visible detail. First resolve the drawings and renders into one consistent building: floor heights, openings, roof connections, and dimensions should agree before detailed modeling. Review the exterior from all sides and walk through every occupied level.
