i always wonder about how much people in creative teams feel annoyed when collective effort gets credited to a singular person, because that happens with literally everything a celebrity does

"her mind" and it's something like 40 people worked their asses off to accomplish. yknow? like i think a lot of artists could do a lot of what they accomplish just off their own talent but a lot of artists outsource creative genius (not a bad thing) but then get credited for it

this isnt about anyone in particular it's just annoying. i dont mind when an artist is super dedicated to shouting out teams but i DO get annoyed when a celebrity acts like they achieve everything on their own and theyre so self made if they aren't

passive means personality wise, not bottom or submissive. she means like indecisive of everything, doesn't put in effort, cancels dates instead of saying no in the first place and wastes everyone's time, nonconfrontational etc

like if it is ai im not going to defend that! 🤷 i just think so many people are getting scammed by "creative" companies and then having their personal reputation damaged because they actually trusted the artists they commissioned to, i don't know, do the work theyre paid to do?

im making some assumptions here but i just have seen this happen over and over where someone PAYS an animator, designer, band, whatever, to work on something for them and then they get back a product which uses ai, without knowing that's what happened

it seems silly to bring up in light of a tabletop OC but that principle is part of why grief is so hard. who you were with the deceased person died with them because it exists in that context. Im autistic lol so when my campaign dissolved, i grieved! That character is changed!

i know this is like an overly serious response to this. but, dnd is about friends mostly. that character just doesn't have the same impact or relation to its creator in a different group of people and it's not that serious but it's not fun!
