Post #1- #femalePI #awareness Our lab has given 3 science dissemination talks to ~12yr old students this year. We showed a lab pic, and asked who was the PI. Several members were guessed as possible PI, but only 1 student guessed a female member. How can we improve this #bias?
I have decided to post a bit about some experiences as #femalePI, as I think that some #awareness needs to be made, and some things still need to #change. I will be sharing some good and not-so-good experiences. Hope this is useful to improve some things !!! 🙂 Feedback welcome!
