Look, I should warn you upfront: I'm not winning any popularity contests here. I only tweet when I feel like it and have opinions on stuff like politics, racism, sexism, animal cruelty, and weird science experiments. I sometimes tweet about hacking or odd places. I eat trolls.

Goodbye folks. I'm not interested in a loss of anonymity. I don't feel safe giving my private data, an ID or face photo, whatever will constitute "authentication" to one of his companies. No one should have this much say over the rest of us, it's a recipe for disaster.

Wait, Judy Blume is on the banned books list? 🤦‍♀️😂 At what point do we call this self harm? Yes, echo chambers and the narrowest possible domain of perspectives really shouts "strong, quality education" to me. What a goofy witch hunt these people are on. What a stunt.

It had never occurred to me that the reason Russian influence ops were so good at dividing Americans was because they'd learned first on their people. How awful.
There is a *massive* amount of social power in being able to get away with being an asshole or doing or saying things that make people feel shitty without those people feeling like they can say something back to you about it.

one of the most ominous papers i've read, where ppl training AI to discover ways to improve human health instead go "hm, i wonder what happens if we just flip the direction of training from 'help' to 'hurt'" nature.com/articles/s42256-0…

Newsflash- these people raised on The Little Mermaid aren't against 'finding yourself' or 'disobeying their parents'. They are against the ethnicity of the girl doing it.

A Texas woman was put on an emergency flight to Colorado *in the middle of a miscarriage* to save her life, and NPR just gets quotes from both sides of the ‘saving women in mortal peril’ debate & calls it a day. Things might get awkward if you ask John Seago follow-up questions!

Today I learned CrowdStrike's ML AV component looks at total entropy in an executable and will block it if the entropy level is above some threshold. Successful bypass by adding English words in character arrays to decrease overall entropy.

Hey so.. it’s my bday and I’ve been getting deadnamed and misgendered by family all day. So if some cool peeps could tell me happy birthday with my chosen name “Jacki” that would be awesome 👉👈🥺

Really tired of having to explain that yes, sexism still exists, yes it's a daily thing when I interact with actual humans, and yeah, it *is* total shit. No, just because you don't understand or personally witness it doesn't make it magically not real.

Ha. Honestly, no, that was me losing my shit. Casual sexism is so rampant that if I get too bent out of shape every time it happens, I won’t have energy left to actually enjoy my life.

Yesterday, a secret Russian cipher machine appeared on Twitter. Allegedly confiscated by Ukraine from Russian troops around Kiev. Whether this is correct remains to be seen, but we have created a provisional page for it: cryptomuseum.com/crypto/ru/m… any further info is welcome.
