Think of a leader you followed, not because you had to, but because you wanted to.
Now think of one you simply complied with.
What was the difference?

At Miva, everything begins with a simple belief: more people should have access to high-quality university education, wherever life takes them.
As a university fully licensed by the National Universities Commission, we are building an institution where students can study flexibly, apply what they learn in real life, earn recognised degrees, and prepare for the opportunities ahead.
Wherever you are and whatever stage of life you are in, you can keep moving forward while working towards your degree.
Reach Higher.

ARISE NEWS RESPONSE TO INEC LAGOS STATEMENT
Arise News has received a press statement from INEC Lagos State categorically denying our report aired this morning on What's Trending and stating that the display of the Register of Voters was conducted across all two hundred and forty-five registration areas in Lagos State including Alimosho and Shomolu. We take note of INEC's response and we respect the commission's right to provide its own account.
However, Arise News stands by its report. Our findings were based on independent on-ground verification not social media posts or unverified claims.
At the time of our confirmation on Tuesday, the INEC portal displayed a message stating there are currently no preliminary registers to display.
In the Alimosho area, our investigation revealed the register was strictly available on request between 9AM and 3PM and residents were only allowed to check for their own names which falls short of the open public display required under Section 19 of the Electoral Act.
Arise News acknowledges that INEC may have since rectified the situation and we welcome that. But the issues we reported were real and the public deserves to know.
We remain committed to responsible accurate and independent journalism and we call on INEC to ensure that every Nigerian in every ward has full and open access to the voters' register as required by law not access by request, access by right!

Replying to @qroniqls
What I would agree to is that the quality of our elections system, which improved incrementally from 2007 to 2015, has since regressed.
Citizens of Nigeria should be able to vote with their NIN anywhere in Nigeria. There shouldn't be any need to request a new card because one changed location. @inecnigeria @FMINONigeria
I was at the #Texcellence 5.0 conference today, and they asked why government doesn't organise its IT to prioritise citizen convenience. I explained that Ministries are organised vertically while citizens engage with government horizontally.
You need to have an IT Czar that can say No to Ministries and ensure that citizens engage with ‘One Government.’ That is what Singapore, Estonia, Rwanda and the UK have done.
Without that Ministries will continue to procure disparate systems and get the corrupt benefits from awarding the contracts. Citizens will continue to be frustrated.
Oh! I also said that I didn’t see why INEC should continue to issue voter cards when 136 million Nigerians already have NIN. The INEC database only has 103 million records verified with fingerprint and facial recognition technology. NIN, on the other hand, additionally captures your face, your ten fingerprints, and the iris of your eyes.
We don’t know whether INEC’s 103m are in NIMC’s 136m. We should not be in that situation.
By law, @nimc_ng is also the only custodian of root identity data in Nigeria. Why do people who have NINs have to queue up for “Continuous Voter Registration” that is anything but continuous?

Avoid things fall apart when you have a "key man risk".
What happens after your best people or an head of department leaves?
It's time to move from filling positions to building a pipeline and from panic-hiring to being prepared.
