Most people do not understand BTCFi because it does not feel exciting yet. There is no fast pump. No viral meme. No loud marketing. BTCFi is infrastructure. And infrastructure is always ignored early. Right now, Bitcoin still lives in people’s heads as a static asset. Buy, hold, wait. That mental model is outdated, but it is comfortable. Changing it requires understanding how capital efficiency works, how liquidity flows, and why idle trillions eventually seek yield. Most traders are trained to react to price, not to structural shifts. BTCFi is a structural shift. By the time it becomes obvious, it will already be integrated. Wallets will support it. Institutions will use it quietly. Yield will exist by default. And narratives will flip from “experimental” to “why didn’t I pay attention earlier”. FOMO always comes late because understanding comes late. People do not chase what they do not yet understand. They chase what already worked. BTCFi will not announce itself. It will just be everywhere.
