That’s why you should learn to read before rushing to expose someone. Who told you an engineering degree and a master’s in engineering are compulsory for a PhD in Engineering in America? You set out to expose someone’s ignorance and ended up advertising your own. You need to read
Why This Fraud Bello Mahmud Zailani is not Qualified to be Called an Engineer The claims about @Lonnewulff being an engineer have been disproven by very respected engineers, including some officials of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. These are actual engineers. This issue is straightforward, and you guys are refusing to have a taste of your medicine. Bello’s first degree is a B.Sc. in Building, which is distinct from a degree in Building Engineering. His master’s degree is in Project Management, a multidisciplinary programme open to graduates from all fields. His only engineering qualification is the Doctor of Engineering from Morgan State University. Now, go through the qualifying criteria set by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), as published in its Guidelines for Registration with COREN as an Engineer, and show me exactly how Bello, whose foundational degree is in Building, not Engineering, qualifies for registration as a professional engineer under any of the prescribed pathways. The standard academic route for engineers under Section 1.3(a) of the COREN guidelines specifies a COREN-accredited B.Eng., B.Sc. or B.Tech. in Engineering. Bello is not qualified to be an engineer based on this. The alternative route under Section 1.3(h) requires a B.Sc. in Science, a relevant M.Eng., at least TEN years of postgraduate engineering experience and a minimum age of 50. You can go directly to Sections 1.3(a) and 1.3(h) of the published guidelines to verify these requirements for yourselves. Now, which of these requirements does Bello satisfy? These are legitimate questions about professional credentials, and someone who champions accountability should have no difficulty answering them. If he claims to be a registered engineer, he should provide his COREN registration number too for verification. I am asking him to demonstrate his eligibility under the published rules, not presuming that he is incapable of qualifying. COREN’s official registration guidelines: coren.gov.ng/guidelines-for-…

The thing with Twitter is this: hardly anything anyone says will sway or change another person’s mind. Everyone already knows who they’d vote for. Long AI-corrected tweets won’t do jack. But the trail is still good for posterity’s sake.

Today na Sunday o. Abi we should expect another extension?
STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE President Tinubu extends working vacation by a few days President Tinubu will return to Nigeria at the weekend, following the extension of his working vacation by a few days. President Tinubu departed Nigeria on August 30 for London to begin the working vacation. After spending a week in London, he moved to Paris, France, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Mr Vincent Bollore, whose media group includes Canal+, Multichoice, and Universal Music Group. Since he began the vacation, President Tinubu has continued to keep in touch with home, directing the affairs of the nation, like ordering an independent panel to investigate the death of 37 illegal miners in Minna, following their detention by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, among other things. While away, President Tinubu delegated Vice President Kashim Shettima to represent him at some official functions. Though Shettima left Abuja on September 20 for New York to attend the 81st United Nations General Assembly, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, who has also been representing the President at events, will continue to do so. On the political front, the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Senator Abubakar Yari, has been leading notable party leaders in consultations with prominent traditional rulers in the country. The Presidency described the baseless insinuation by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and a United States-based lobbying firm headed by an ex-convict about President Tinubu's non-attendance at UNGA as irresponsible. Vice President Shettima, who is representing the President at the global conference, will present Nigeria's national statement. Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, (Information and Strategy) September 21, 2026.

Its incredibly difficult to defend Tinubu. One minute you’re on record saying Tinubu will be sitting very very close to Trump at UNGA. The next minute Tinubu send his VP to represent him, missing the most important annual gathering of world leaders for the 3rd consecutive time🤦🏽‍♂️

Accusing Atiku of populism is cute. That man talked about subsidy and NNPC rearrangement when it was unpopular. He was the capitalist before but because he's adjusting his views on a policy that hasn't yield better living for majority of citizens, he's a populist.. 😂
Atiku has outflanked Obi as the populist candidate going into the coming election , the gap between him and Obi will be wider this time but he will still come second while Obi will come third. You can also notice the reduced momentum and online presence of the Obi troops.

In trying to exonerate the #ThiefOfStaff, Bayo Onanuga has implicated the @cenbank Governor, the NSA, the AGF and other top govt functionaries, including the SGF. Finally, APC will learn the adage “when in the hole, stop digging”.

Following extensive consultations with family, friends, and political associates we have worked closely with over time, we have resolved to move to the ADC as part of a new direction. I have accordingly tendered my resignation from the APC and completed my registration with our new party, the ADC. Those who are interested in joining the ADC can conveniently register using their phones via this link: adcregistration.ng. Your membership card will be issued shortly after. We pray that Allah, in His mercy, makes this decision a good one, grants the ADC the opportunity to form government at all levels, and makee it beneficial for all Nigerians. Ameen.

The Arithmetic of Victory: Why the ADC Needs Amaechi in 2027 By : Abubakar Sadiq Adamu, @engrasa Nigerian elections are rarely won by passion alone. They are won by candidates who can convert enthusiasm into geography, alliances, and votes. That is the harsh arithmetic confronting the ADC as it prepares for the 2027 presidential contest against the entrenched incumbency of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The party’s emerging field of aspirants includes three formidable figures: Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi and Peter Obi. Each carries political weight and commands loyal supporters. Yet politics is not a contest of admiration. It is a contest of strategy. The question before the ADC is simple. Which of these men can construct the broadest national coalition capable of defeating an incumbent president? The answer may be uncomfortable for some factions within the opposition. But the political logic increasingly points toward Rotimi Amaechi. Start with geography. Nigeria’s delicate political balance still revolves around an unwritten but powerful expectation that presidential power should rotate between North and South. After eight years of northern presidency under the late Muhammadu Buhari and the current administration of Bola Tinubu from the South West, any attempt to return the ticket to the North risks igniting resistance across southern political blocs. That reality immediately complicates the path for Atiku Abubakar. Peter Obi confronts a different structural challenge. His remarkable performance in the 2023 election proved that a reform-driven campaign can electrify urban voters and young Nigerians. Yet it also exposed the limits of a movement that remains regionally concentrated. Nigerian presidential elections demand not only passion but also spread. Without deeper penetration of the northern political establishment, that path remains uncertain. Amaechi occupies a different political space altogether. A southerner from Rivers State, he nonetheless played a decisive role in building the northern coalition that carried Muhammadu Buhari to victory in 2015 as Director General of the campaign. Few politicians in contemporary Nigeria can claim that combination of southern origin and northern political trust. That dual credibility may prove decisive in 2027. For many political actors in the North, leadership is often judged not only by rhetoric but by reliability, loyalty to alliances, and respect for the delicate balance that sustains Nigeria’s federation. Amaechi’s long working relationship with northern political leaders during the coalition that produced the Buhari presidency created networks of trust that still endure within sections of the northern political establishment. In a political environment where trust deficits frequently undermine opposition coalitions, that familiarity may prove to be a quiet but significant advantage. This history signals to northern leaders and traditional authorities that Amaechi understands the balance of power, respects existing alliances, and is capable of advancing a national agenda without disrupting regional interests. It is also important to remember that Amaechi is not merely a coalition builder. He is an administrator forged in the rough terrain of Nigerian governance. As Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, then Governor of Rivers State and later Minister of Transportation, he accumulated experience across legislative and executive power. His tenure as governor witnessed aggressive investments in education and infrastructure, while his years in the federal cabinet placed him at the center of national policy debates.

One good thing about the upcoming general election is that Nigerians will not need much persuasion to vote wisely. The realities of inflation, unemployment, unreliable electricity, and the failure of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to curb insecurity are strong reasons for the electorate to support Rotimi Amaechi as Nigeria’s next president.
