Replying to @infotechinc
I'm thankful for an employer that continues to support my personal and professional growth more than a dozen years after I began. I wouldn't have had time or opportunities for these moments in public speaking without the support of @infotechinc - Thank you xitter.cf/i/moments/105118307699…

When I wrote benkuhn.net/11, I got a lot of comments like "I've done >1k useless 1:1s, so there's no way 1:1s can be consistently great." Hilarious self-own aside, I realized I didn't give a good playbook for *how* to do good 1:1s. Here's mine (for folks on both sides):

Sunday question: What is something a great manager you have had did or does that makes you really respect them? I’m looking for acts not traits. (Ex. Holds 1:1s with me every week)
