Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.
France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend
For years, I warned that Fauci and his inner circle buried the truth about Wuhan. Now his closest adviser has been indicted. Fauci lied to Congress under oath. The statute of limitations expires in 5 days. Will the DOJ finally indict Fauci?

Vote for Ben Allen for California Insurance Commissioner! Almost the only candidate that supports campaign finance reform. Tom Umberg and Alex Lee district 24 also support it, if you have them on your ballot vote for them.
Zero California Governor candidates support the "California Fair Elections Act". Sad. Any write-in recommendations? Any other vote is throwing my vote away.

Jevons Paradox but for productivity.
Make a task more efficient, people don't do less of it. They do more of it. Coal didn't reduce energy use. Email didn't reduce communication. AI won't reduce work.
We never optimize for rest. We optimize for output. Every time.
Monks strive to attain small context windows, to live in the present, with every questions being new, like an LLM. Like a doomscroller.
Perhaps large context windows cause anxiety?

We built Jikipedia, a new wiki that compiles Jmail data into exhaustive reports on key figures in the Epstein scandal.
It lists all recorded visits to Epstein's estates, each person's possible knowledge of Epstein's crimes and laws that they may have violated.
Here is Epstein's executive assistant, who sent >100k emails to him and was shielded from prison via a 2007 non-prosecution deal.

👍 The most patriotic thing you can do for your country is your homework.
Dying is easy.
Math is hard.
Give this a watch, it’s funny because it’s true.

But this year, Congress robbed the fund (and if you are a taxpayer and have checked that $3 box, you should be righteously pissed off about this misappropriation)
And the Treasury is saying “sorry, we don’t have the money, we might need it for the general”
