The word is out. DC Comics is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Black Lightning with an amazing special that includes a lead story by Brandon Thomas and myself plus contributions from a great group of writers and artists. There's even an alternate cover by my pal and original Black Lightning artist Trevor von Eeden.
I'll be conducting my own nigh-daily celebration of my creation and my work on him on social media. I've got something fun cooked up and it will launch in November.
Justice, like lightning,

Wonder Womanโs intense battle with Superman. She tanked insane stuff from Kal in this issue (a punch that sent her from the sun back to earth) her intelligence and years of combat experience gave her the upper hand over Kalโs powers.

Stephanie Williams and artist Elena Casagrande will take over next for six issues next in 2027!

DC Comics has announced that 2027 is The Year of Wonder!
Louise Simonson and Cian Tormey will do a 4 part story that promises major changes for Diana and the Amazons. Diana attempts to overturn the Amazon Safety Act, which has prevented her sisters from returning to Manโs World. But after everything the Amazons have endured, convincing them to return may prove more difficult than changing the law itself.
The arc will also bring Lois Lane into the action, along with Granny Goodness and her Female Furies.
