We recreated the 2011 Tohoku #tsunami using WebGPU-accelerated SWE & open geospatial data. Validation showed promising accuracy, including tsunami arrival time at Fukushima. A browser-based platform for flood, tsunami, #landslide, and water-flow simulation will be released soon.

My team at @Gaia3D has simulated part of the #Nepal–Tibet flash #flood using #magoFluid. Initially I assumed water hit the border checkpoint from behind. This shows a massive flow passing alongside swept over it. Thoughts are with the victims.
