Just read this inside the Terms of Service for a piece of software. Is this even legal?

Upgraded to MacOS 27. The worst mistake of my life. Everything is bugged and clunky, feels like Windows 11 at the start.

Sorry for all the recent inactivity! I've been sent to 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan on a business trip, and I'll be back at the end of October. I'll keep you updated, probably send some pics too. Been way too busy recently.

Decided to see what's up on VK (the Russian state social media) after years of inactivity. These are the only advertisements on the platform. It is genuinely scary.

Is really nobody going to ask «Why?»... The trademark is owned by imput LLC registered in WY, USA. WY state laws allow the entity owners to stay anonymous, also no income tax. That costs $100 + $60/y. The EU trademark costs €850/decade. Surely they must want to make that back.
we were granted a trademark for Helium in EU 🇪🇺

Skimming through the replies, it's just weird and toxic. Am I not supposed to ask any questions and just blindly trust a project I am using because «just trust it bro» or anything else unrelated? Sorry for thinking!

Instead of wasting time, answer this question:
Replying to @EricParker
That makes sense now. Is there any reason to fight back at all with a registered trademark in a different jurisdiction? It feels like a waste of time and money regardless if a malicious actor decides to C&D the project. The legal fees will be astronomical.

Vue picked a really interesting short version of the word «Fragment»

Remember how I said Dave Plummer might grift again? The TMOG is closed-source and *will* have a Pro version - it's baked in the license. Wonder why? The app is fully vibecoded (not even by Claude) and Plummer is NOT LIABLE for anything despite the paid nature of software.
Say HELLO to my little friend, Task Manager OG! I'm please to announce the immediate availability of the MacOS version of TMOG today; Windows support will follow shortly, so follow for the update! TMOG is a free application; I may do a Pro version at some point, but everything here is and will remain free. Get the beta: tmog.org/

Great options: System Informer or TaskSlinger.
If you want an alternative task manager - get TaskSlinger. - VERY FAST (100ms startup time) - Author cares a lot - No telemetry, analytics and anything like that - Fully native, no React crap - exe is 2 megabytes No reason to use slop when high quality software exists

Forgot to link to the newest tweet: xitter.cf/endermanch/status/2083…
Here's some interesting stuff I found in the disassembly for Dave Plummer's TMOG. The licensing check seems to be vibecoded: tmog.org/app-control.json tmog.org/downloads/release.j…

Safari is actually the new Internet Explorer. We need to collectively cancel that browser, throw it into the dumpster and set that dumpster on fire.

What if the new CAPTCHAs are actually an elaborate plan to collect training data to ensure AI never generates hands with 6 fingers again?
