Most software gets chosen in the worst week of the quarter. Something's failing, a call's due Friday, and the tool that demos well beats the one that fits, because fit takes two weeks to judge and there aren't two weeks.
Four years on it's load-bearing and nobody's revisited it.
Crypto made "don't trust, verify" a reflex for a lot of people. Then it's time to hire a marketing firm and the reflex just switches off, and the proof of work turns out to be a page of adjectives and a stock photo of two guys shaking hands.
Most growth problems get filed as a marketing problem.
So the site gets rebuilt and the ads get rewritten.
But the disconnect was between positioning, demand generation and sales handoffs.
Nothing downstream repairs that.
A rebuild can be the right call.
But when leadership, marketing and sales are working from different definitions of the buyer, a new site just publishes the disagreement faster.

Yesterday, an external fund manager overseeing Stream funds disclosed the loss of approximately $93 million in Stream fund assets.
In response, Stream is in the process of engaging Keith Miller and Joseph Cutler of the law firm Perkins Coie LLP, to lead a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
We are actively withdrawing all liquid assets and expect this process to be completed in the near term
To keep our stakeholders informed, we will provide periodic updates as additional information becomes available. Until we are able to fully assess the scope and causes of the loss, all withdrawals and deposits will be temporarily suspended. Any pending deposits will not be processed at this time.
Our decision to retain Perkins Coie LLP reflects Stream’s unwavering commitment to transparency and robust corporate governance.
