loving race training as an excuse to cross off more “new” miles in nyc. featuring saturday’s long run + all the new miles we unlocked (shoutout @wandrer_earth )
I can't wait to run the NYC Marathon with NYRR Team for Climate this year!
Be sure to check this out if you're running as well (we can twin in matching Windmill sneaks 🏃♀️➡️ )
Running the @nycmarathon on Nov. 1? Windmill wants to sponsor you!
Running NYC was one of the best days of my life, and I want to help make it one of yours too.
We’re sponsoring 3 people in tech running it this year.
You’ll get:
→ Race day shoes of your choice, customized with the @trywindmill logo
→ A pro photographer on race day + a feature on Windmill’s socials
To enter you must:
→ Work in tech (bonus points for HR)
→ Already have a NYC Marathon entry
→ Like this post + comment your favorite running shoe
→ Fundraising for a charity? Drop your link too
→ Bonus entries if you retweet
We’ll pick 3 runners & notify them by Oct. 12th.
And even if you don’t win, I’ll make a few donations to fundraising links in the replies ❤️
Or if you'd like to support my fundraiser along the way: fundraisers.nyrr.org/emily-y…

We launched a lot in September:
1. Groups: manual, smart (set a rule once and it auto-updates), synced from Slack & Google, and SCIM
2. Engagement surveys: employees answer wherever they are - slack, a web form, or Claude via MCP
3. A new engine for Windy: new harness, new model, better reasoning. Faster, and it reads a lot more.
4. Talk to Windy: live voice transcription in the platform
5. Autodraft: voice and text notes while you write a review, so you can get a high-quality draft back in minutes
Plus pdf exports (and some bloopers). More to come in October.
