the WPBL commentators clearly have good intentions but man they are just coming off really condescending. a fielder dives for a fly ball so hard she backwards somersaults and comes up with it safe in her glove and they're talking about "everyone is so excited to be teammates!"
this is not my #cause but you cannot tell me issues created among NBA players due to Adam Silver's social skills would be described with the terms "bestie", "chill", or images of "sipping cocktails". is the average age of a WNBA player 19? bc this language makes it sound that way
