The Democratic Republic of the Congo is heading toward disaster. Armed groups, including the Interahamwe, FDLR, and Wazalendo, have turned the country into a place of suffering, sorrow, and heartbreaking cries for help.
The suffering of these women must not be ignored. Their cries deserve to be heard, and urgent action is needed to protect civilians and put an end to these atrocities.
