Just overhead walking to my car between two teammates, one who was holding back tears after a tough game:
“You’re such a great player! One bad game, so what? You can’t let it linger because then it affects more than just one game. I believe in you so much! You got this.”

Katie Meyer, Sarah Shulze, & Lauren Bernett. 3 amazing, young female athletes all gone too soon. Check on your friends, teammates & family. Being a collegiate athlete is a blessing, but the toll it can take on the brain is scary. Mental health matters 💛

Proud to be your coach @geistfeld ❤️🖤🤍
.@geistfeld of @BethanyWbb named First-team All-American by @d3hoops. This is her second career All-American honor, and first First-team selection. She is the first student-athlete across all BLC teams to be named First-team All-American in the NCAA DIII era.

Games reveal what you do in practice.
Practices reveal what you do on your own.
What you do on your own reveals your character.

Your bench is the ultimate culture check.
Are they celebrating what’s best for the team or are they only worried about personal glory?
