i'm sorry, but i can't bring myself to hate on him like the way some others are doing. i've been heavily critical of him this season, and he deserves it FULLY. i just honestly feel it's best for all parties to part ways. wasted his prime years in this shithole. united failed him.
Bruno Fernandes' contract talks with #MUFC have made no progress in weeks. Ambition & promises are part of the reason as to why talks have stalled. #MUFC are still in talks to keep him but the 32 yo has concerns about the ambitions of the club @UtdDistrict roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…

You chatted me up, claiming someone gave you my number because you wanted information about moving abroad. I shared everything I knew and even shared my screen to show you exactly where to click.
After you finished registering, you had the audacity to say, “It must be unfortunate, right? All this knowledge, yet you don't have the money to do it like others.”
I hung up and blocked you. Now you're stalking me everywhere, calling me petty. Are you actually okay?
It's like you're not normal.

He’s leaving, he’s rejected the latest contract offer, which he was close to agreeing a while back. But the whole place is currently being burnt down.
Don’t blame him, he’s wasted his twilight years at this shithole of a club, anywhere else and he would’ve won the Balon D’or.

All jokes apart. Tinubu has been the worst president in the history of Nigerian democracy.
- Naira lost 42% of its value. That's almost half of your earnings lost to bad government policy.
- Petrol has gone from 145/L to N1900/L in some states. A 1210% increase which ushered in obscene level of inflation. So your earnings lost value through devaluation, and whatever is left loses even more in purchasing power.
- The 2025 Global Report on Food Crises found Nigeria had the largest increase in acute food insecurity worldwide in 2024.
- The World Bank figures cited in Daily Trust show poverty rising from 56% in 2023 to 61% in 2024 and 63% in 2025. That is roughly 139 million people, about 35 million more than when he took office.
-Nigeria's dollar-measured GDP fell from the largest in Africa to the fourth, per IMF data. We went from the giant of Africa to just another random country in Africa which made the lives of Nigerians living in places like South Africa less secure as South Africans started to view them as leeches rather than a big brother here for the love.
-Over 1,100 abductions were reported in early 2026 alone. And these are the reported cases.
- Premium Times, analysing ACLED data, found about 4,500 killed and 7,000 kidnapped in Tinubu's first year. The previous year had 2,606 killed and 3,523 abducted.
- ACLED recorded 18,079 killed and 8,043 abducted between May 2023 and May 2025. Borno (4,710), Zamfara (2,659) and Katsina (2,010) had the most deaths.
- Dataphyte's three-year review put civilian deaths at over 14,000 by ACLED data. Nigeria is a more dangerous place to live than many active warzones and countries witnessing armed conflict. Close to 20,000 human lives lost to terrorism including army generals.
Tl;dr: Nigerian lives have seen the sharpest fall in quality of life since Tinubu assumed office and we must all focus on these facts and ensure we send him back to Bourdillon come February.
Vote NDC.
One Month Discount on Petrol: From Reactive Policies to Flawed Outcomes!
The announcement by the APC led Federal Government offering a 30-day discount on price of petrol to relieve the acute hardship and hunger caused Nigerians by its unplanned removal of subsidy can only be described as another very reactive and confused approach to governance that is now the culture of the Tinubu Government.
I had delayed in reacting to the announcement just to give the benefit of doubt and watch the outcome of the policy. Now, having assessed the outcomes, the policy is a substitution of political optics for sound policy.
As Nigerians will recall, President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023, most carelessly removed fuel subsidy without any consultation or proper assessment of the negative impacts of such policies on our economy particularly on the livelihood of ordinary Nigerians.
Moreover, the careless removal of fuel subsidy was followed by other very badly sequenced policies such as the floating of the naira and tax reforms, all implemented in a very disorganized, incompetent and insensitive manner in addition to using three budgets at the same time with the attendant lack of transparency and accountability. Collectively, these policies stoked inflation in all sectors, pushing in most cases unbearable price hikes across board which placed severe shocks and other adverse consequences on Nigerians.
Expectedly, the outcomes are what they are- increasing multi-dimensional poverty, skyrocketing costs of goods and services, shrinking opportunities, exit of many businesses, mounting unemployment, disturbing insecurity, widening inequality, forced migration of our youths and general decline in the well-being of Nigerians.
Most unfortunately, rather than engage in detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of their reactive policies, the President Bola Tinubu’s led government has again demonstrated their well-known incompetence and insensitivity to governance.
With a detailed and published regulatory impact assessment of policies, a competent government would have pursued robust and sincere engagements and consultations with key stakeholders and ordinary Nigerians to recraft and implement inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth strategies and policies.
What really does the President Bola Tinubu led government want to achieve with a one-month discount of less than 5% on fuel cost. Will it reduce poverty, unemployment, insecurity, and inequality? Will it increase productivity and exports? Is it a test to ascertain if subsidy should be restored? Is it another political gambit in the face of threats of electoral loss in the 2027 election? Too many questions, no answer!

Apple says you need a Mac to build iPhone apps.
Today I built one on Omarchy Linux, submitted it to the App Store, installed it on my iPhone over USB, and stopped it at a breakpoint in the debugger.
No Mac anywhere.

So sad!
We can’t make this our norm. We must vote out a government with no care or concern for human life, a basic requirement for a nation’s leader.
We must show our anger at the polls next year, for our unborn children. If not, they will ask questions we can’t answer.
