I think we’re entering an era where poverty doesn’t always look like unemployment. You can have a job.A university degree.A smartphone.Internet access.A respectable salary.And still be one unexpected expense away from financial trouble. You work, but can’t afford a home. You earn, but struggle to save. You have qualifications, but no financial security. At what point do we acknowledge that having employment and escaping poverty are no longer necessarily the same thing?

It’s real easy for a man to take this stance. He’s not that one that could end up being pregnant as a result of being raped. As a survivor who was raped at 17,it still affects me at 58.
