Ewo the matter long. She was tricked back to Naija ni o. The man said they needed to enroll their older daughter into a boarding school in Nigeria for proper Islamic upbringing and what not, she agreed. Then he said they will all come back to Nigeria for the daughter’s enrollment so she can settle in properly. He followed her back to Nigeria, they stayed in Ibadan. Then the next day she went to visit her parents in Osun state with the kids and spent 7days. She came back to Ibadan to his absence. He didn’t even enroll the daughter in the school before going back. She called his work place in Uk and they confirmed he has returned to work. Afterwards he sent her divorced papers via WhatsApp 😭

i wish i could separate the art and the artist because her songs are so good but she’s a little (a lot) odd.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM YOUR LOCAL CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST For those who don’t know what this recent PHP security vulnerability means: This affects most public facing websites. These vulnerabilities can allow someone to gain access to most websites and their hosting server. That could give them access to sensitive information and/or creds. That is a serious problem. Companies are working on patching this immediately. But if someone already got in, patching the vulnerability isn't enough. Backdoors could still be there and you can't take back already stolen data. The part I am most concerned about. Do these companies have the knowledge, staff, and information needed to properly investigate whether someone got in before they applied the fix? Most don't. You are going to hear things like "your data was encrypted" this does not automatically mean it was safe. If someone controls the service that can decrypt that information, or the attacker has plenty of time and resources on their hands, the information can be decrypted. This can also affect apps and other services that rely on these connections. How far an attacker can get depends on what those servers can access and how well the company has separated its systems. From many years of experience, most companies don't have good security posture. FOR THE REGULAR NONTECHNICAL PERSON: Don’t assume every account you have was hacked. This is a REALLY good time to pay attention and get your account security in order. SO: Keep an eye out for breach notices and unusual login activity. If you get an unexpected message telling you to reset your password, go to the company’s website or app directly. Don’t blindly trust or click links in emails. Fake security warnings will ramp up to take advantage of peoples fear. Stop reusing passwords, ESPECIALLY THE SAME PASSWORD OR A VARIATION OF IT. Use a different password for each account, and turn on multifactor authentication wherever possible. Start with your email. If a company tells you your password was exposed, change it there and anywhere else you used the same or a similar one. Being a regular person does not mean you’ll be ignored. A lot of account attacks are automated. Someone doesn’t need to know who you are to try your and a thousand other peoples stolen login on a hundred other websites simultaneously. If you have ANY questions or need any help what so ever please let me know.

One confirmed Ebola case in Abuja. She's isolated. It's not airborne, and nobody can give it to you before their symptoms start. Fever after travel or contact with someone sick? Skip the chemist. Call NCDC 6232 first. And abeg, no salt water. Share to save lives

you’re a weirdo and a loser. i hope someone does the exact same thing to you when you post a celebratory tweet for you to get a taste of you own medicine. oniranu
As if we’re not all using the same app. Anybody can be a troll, regardless of whether I made the tweet or not. You people just want to blame me for this because apparently, “i set her up” by saying I’ve never done a birthday shoot.

my conspiracy theory is that they changed the national anthem to override our collective memory. i will never sing the new one. i insist on getting the anxiety i get when i hear "arise o compatriots". i must remember how the words were punctuated by gunshots. #EndSARSMemorial

6 Years Later! We are still dealing with Insecurity, hunger, poverty, lack of proper health care and the highest level of corruption and impunity. The saddest part is that we are even more divided as a people at a time when we should be most united. I hope one day we truly realize the power that we have as citizens and stop allowing a few selfish individuals destroy the success and prosperity of the majority of us. Till then, ✌🏾 and 🤍

You lot always have to make everything a “but men” since when the fuck are men the standard for anything? And why would you want them to be? They are telling you to not be financially dependent on a man and stop getting into transactional relationships, you dey do ‘but men’ okay.

NIGERIANS MAKE ONA NO SLEEP O @inecnigeria has refused to publish the voters register ONLINE. Even offline sef, as per @ARISEtv report, it wasn’t published in some polling units in Lagos and people have to personally request for it. No be so o! The danger of waiting till day of election is that if your name is missing from your polling units, you will be disenfranchised and won’t vote o! Why are opposition sleeping? @PeterObi @KwankwasoRM @atiku @seyimakinde @sowore @NGRSenate @iamHSDickson Make ona no sleep o INEC is already flaunting the electoral laws.
Am I overthinking this? Because I am genuinely struggling to understand what is happening in Nigeria. @inecnigeria has disregarded the Electoral Act by failing to publish the voters’ register online for public scrutiny, even after the statutory 90-day deadline has passed. Even under Mahmood Yakubu, the register was published online, with a mechanism for complaints and objections. Today, NOTHING! And somehow, the country has moved on like nothing happened. WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? Apart from @ARISEtv and @fijnigeria, where is the Nigerian media? Where are @YIAGA, @EUinNigeria @EU_SDGN , @NDI and the other civil society organisations? @NigeriaNDCHQ .@ADCNig ARE YOU PEOPLE SLEEPING? Are you actually preparing for this election? This is the voters’ register we are talking about. THE VERY FOUNDATION OF AN ELECTION! INEC has effectively said, “To hell with public scrutiny. Do your worst.” And our collective response is SILENCE. I am genuinely pained. We complain about electoral malpractice and compromised institutions, yet when it is time to demand accountability BEFORE an election, everybody suddenly goes quiet. Must we wait until votes are cast and results are disputed before we start shouting? Seriously, am I the only one who finds this silence deeply disturbing?

I don’t mean to be dismissive but a lot of (young) babes want to be sex workers without calling themselves sex workers. Someone more intelligent (and interested) than I am will explain this better within 3 business days I’m sure.
What would you advise a listener who REQUIRES bags and vacations from her boyfriend? 😭

Please Everyone, I need your help. From the accident, she has fractures in her hand, leg, and pelvic region. The doctor said the surgery will cost about ₦5 million. It is extensive and will be done in two phases. First they will operate on her hand and leg. When she recovers from that, they will do the pelvic region. It has been a painful experience. We have already spent so much on drugs and medications just to keep her stable this far. The pain is still there every day. A lot of you have followed this from the day of the accident. You have seen the updates. You know what this has been like. Please, if your heart can move you, even ₦1k, ₦2k, ₦5k, ₦10k, or ₦20k from you will help us. Every little bit carries weight right now. Kuda Microfinance Bank 2004212740 Ekpo Richard Unwana If you want to confirm or even visit to see how she is doing, please call or WhatsApp me on 08014616027. Please help me share this too. If you were the one that did a HIT AND RUN at Ogudu express, Lagos yesterday evening, just know that it was my wife you hit. I FORGIVE YOU, I really do. Getting the call and the news was heartbreaking and caused tears but I FORGIVE YOU. I FORGIVE YOU I'm grateful to and for the Man that kept her conscious rendering first aid till the Ambulance got there. He even stayed and helped till midnight (few minutes ago). I'm so grateful 🙏

because teens and young adults are more vulnerable than we like to admit. at those ages, a lot of people are still trying to form/solidify their identity. it is also at this stage that they crave relationships and intimacy, making them susceptible to cults.
Why is that school fertile ground for those kind of things tho? I heard of another group from that same school marrying off their members without the consent of their parents.

amendment because i thought he was talking about schools/unis in general, but for that specific uni and others of the calibre, it’s pedigree. if you think of it well, in a country that is fixated on religion, they are our version of fraternities 🫠
