Warm Friday night in Grandview = windows open and hearing karaoke at Caddy’s Delight. So far I’ve heard With Arms Wide Open and Stacie’s Mom. Waiting for the usual Born To Be Wild from Ray.

Every day the Grandview Heights Fire & Police Departments respond to urgent requests for help, including life-threatening calls for service. One of the biggest challenges for our crews responding quickly and safely are those who do not yield to emergency vehicles.

I try not to make political posts. I really do. But I'm watching the @HillaryClinton testimony right now, and it's one of those moments where something just hits you in a way you can't scroll past.
Watching her answer questions, make her points with precision and composure, command the room with the kind of quiet competence that used to be the baseline for public service... it's a painful reminder. This country had a chance to choose a fundamentally different path, and we didn't take it.
You don't have to agree with every policy position she ever held. That's not the point. The point is that we were offered serious, prepared, deeply knowledgeable leadership, and we said no thanks. That's the American tragedy. Not a partisan one. A civic one.
Okay. Back to not making political posts. youtube.com/watch?v=siiAk6WX…
I’m sure this poor man trying to get the horn unstuck at the Pistons game isn’t feeling any pressure by the reporter standing right beside him pointing out that he’s the one trying to fix it!

We welcomed our agriscience education student teachers back to campus for their first monthly seminar. Throughout the day, they exchanged lesson ideas, participated in an engaging workshop on active learning strategies, and reflected on their first month in the classroom 👩🏫 🏫
I stepped down as advisor to @FarmHouseATZ at the end of spring after 12 years. Came into the office today to a beautiful bouquet and thoughtful card.
Ironically behind them is the latest issue of Pearls and Rubies I still get in the mail and the composite from my first year.
The last few years were challenging for the chapter, but thankful for the great young men I got to meet during my time, many of which I still call friends. I’ve watched them grow from 18yo boys to professionals, husbands and fathers. ☺️ @FarmHouse1905
Karaoke is Friday AND Saturday nights apparently. Someone is singing T-Pain’s Buy You A Drank.
It’s a group effort. But a low effort.
It has more than a minute since I’ve heard karaoke from the bar across the street. They changed it to the weekends and I’ve been gone a lot this summer (and got a/c, so windows=down).
Ray is still singing and he just sang Do You Believe in Magic?
