BREAKING: The NLRB has proposed a new joint employer rule, saying linked cos. are JEs if they "share or codetermine" key job terms like pay. "Reserved" + "indirect" control can be factors in the new test, which replaces a rule requiring "direct" control. law360.com/articles/1520787

Thinking about this malfunctioning fire alarm at the Philly Zoo yesterday
Recently saw Twilight and DUH Bella and Edward are both spectrum. They literally share a joke that relies on both of them knowing the first 10 decimals of the square root of pi and neither can make eye contact or small talk. This is why they get along and are drawn to each other
Being spectrum is why nobody can read Bella's mind, it's got an impenetrable force field of irrational number decimals or pokemon statistics or labor history or deep-sea ecosystems or Frank Zappa chord progressions or whatever
uwu has been suggested, but i do not think i understand it well enough myself to explain it. Also on the list: grind culture, himbo, slay, zooted, girlboss, fash, chud, yeet, flex, spill the tea, slaps, GOAT. Others?
Oof

I have a Google Pixel and it has a suggested news feature based off what I search for and it's exclusively news about the Far Cry video game series. It feels vaguely menacing, like, "Hey, nice life you got here, be a shame if everyone found out what a lazy gamer you are"

I do not know where the 500 number for Philadelphia homicides in 1990 came from. Police stats and Jan. 1991 stories put it at 525. Early 1992 newspapers also cite the 525 number for 1990. First reference I can find to 500 is in the Inquirer in 2006; a 2001 chart puts it at 504.
