If you are recommending masks instead of requiring them, that means you know what is the right thing to do, but you'd much rather placate a minority of selfish anti-maskers instead of protecting the health of the majority.

Glad to see so many embracing therapy. A few of you need an exorcism as well but... Baby steps
Yes! This would be great. I barely go out on my bike anymore as the city has gotten so much busier with vehicular traffic! It’s terrifying.
Before I start this thread, I want to make it super clear: I LOVE CAR-FREE JFK AND WANT IT TO BE CAR-FREE FOREVER.
But there are some challenges I’ve been noticing that are worth sharing. I hope we can address them as we continue to work on the space. @JFKPromenade

The deYoung delivery area is not safe. Yes, the space is shared, but in a park, pedestrians and cyclists still need to be privileged in areas shared with cars. A truck driver swung a turn really fast and yelled at me out the window earlier this week. No thx.

Don’t @ me for this one. Some parks and rec employees and Recology drive *fast* in the car-free area. It’s terrifying. I’m sure it’s super annoying, but cars, trucks, and other motorized vehicles need to crawl in the car-free area. That’s the whole point of @JFKPromenade.

I don’t want to live in a country that has all the money in the world for cops and war, but no money for public health and healthcare for all. There is no future in this. None.
Working topless today…only putting on a shirt for meetings. It’s not sexy hot. It’s just sweaty hot.
@KarlTheFog — can you please come back from vacay? This is bullshit. Expected bullshit for this time of year, but bullshit nonetheless.
