Mudwater is an old game played deep in the Everglades.
Instead of dice in alleys, we play Mudwater on the docks.
The game is simple, but the skill ceiling is high.
And we play for keeps.
We've just airdropped this 6551 Totem, paired to all BAYC & MAYC, enabling pack claims.
5 years in the club today🦧🎉
Had to get me some Apes! The coolest NFTs out there in the jungle 🦍🌴@BoredApeYC #BoredApeYachtClub #boredapeYC #nft #NFTs

Prompt (by CallMeWhatYaLike) 👇
Create a vintage botanical illustration poster that reinterprets the main subject as if it were studied in a 19th-century scientific atlas, using only visible details. Use fine ink linework, delicate cross-hatching, and a realistic yet idealized illustration style. Style illustration with bright colors from the uploaded image on a white background. Lay out a central primary illustration supported by smaller inset studies, guide lines, and diagram callouts that analyze form and structure with annotated text. Include understated labels and markers. Annotated text should be in plain English and easy to read.

Five Years of Bored Ape Yacht Club
A note to The Best Club on the Internet,
Five years is a long time on the internet. It’s long enough to understand what makes something different, and to recognize when it becomes part of people’s lives in a real way.
The Bored Ape Yacht Club has always been more than something you scroll past. It’s something people step into, build with, and carry with them. That’s what makes this a Club.
Like @mfigge said recently, the Club should live in your world, not just your timeline. That's where we're headed.
Here's what that looks like right now.
We recently rolled out the new bayc.com - a fresh look, member profiles and directory, an updated store.bayc.com, and more coming soon. It’s a step toward making the Club feel more tangible, more connected, and easier to immerse in.
IRL is the Alpha
Over the last few weeks, Apes have been mobilizing across the globe through regional meetups, bringing local chapters together in ways that actually matter.
We spent 4/20 weekend with Snoop and Dr. Bombay, giving a group of Apes a member-only moment you can’t replicate online.
These moments pull people closer together, create and strengthen real bonds, and push the energy of the Club forward.
We say Bored Ape, You say Yacht Club
We’ve also been thinking about what it actually means to be a Yacht Club - not just the name, but the feeling behind it. That’s starting to take shape. From here on out, you’ll see it show up more clearly in our apparel, our collaborations, and an aesthetic that finally does the Yacht Club name justice.
Five years in, and we’re not slowing down.
There’s more to share, but for now… thanks for being an Ape. Thanks for being in the Club.

Some news to share:
After serving as CEO the past couple years, I’m moving into the role of Chairman of the Board, and @mfigge will become Yuga’s next CEO.
Figge is the absolute best person for the job. There’s no one I trust more to lead Yuga through this next chapter.
He’s relentless about product quality, he thinks longterm, and he knows how to take a vision and make it real. His work on Otherside the past year is proof of that, and you haven’t seen the half of it.
And I’ve loved watching Figge get his hands dirty in the world of BAYC over the last few weeks. The club is better for it.
Creative direction, writing, and figuring out insane ideas is still where I do my best work. And with Figge taking over the CEO role, I get to go back to it. I can’t wait for what Yuga builds next.
