10-year Tesla owner here. I've owned 4 Teslas and driven them through countless Canadian and U.S. summers and winters.
Hear me out: Hankook tires are the worst tires Tesla has ever delivered on any of my vehicles.
My 2026 Model Y Launch came with them, and after about 20,000 km, I can confidently say they have almost no grip in even mild weather conditions. They're slippery from a standstill, traction is poor, and I've noticed wheel slip even while using FSD.
I've never experienced this level of reduced confidence with any previous Tesla tire setup.
