The recording of the EMF 2022 Infrastructure Review presentation is now available! youtu.be/8grwYpDD4D0
The EMF power grids are designed, built, and tested by consummate professionals. Diesel generation remains the most environmentally conscious and cost-effective option.
All the field has been rolled in except the NOC-DC which, due to a complex sequence of dependencies, is fully up and running today while the tent it is due to be unloaded into is being deconstructed!
oom-killer in Docklands finally oom-killed something important. At least it waited until y’all were off site!
Here are the slides from our infrastructure review talk yesterday. Warning: 54 MB of superfluous photos. github.com/emfcamp/emfnoc/bl…
Everything is fine. This was not linked up to an actual monitoring system. Although it should be next time!

And if you’re currently free, go and speak to the volunteering team in the info tent. There are many slots that need filling, and none of them are difficult.
Disconnections are handled by volunteers. From the rota, I can see the first shift begins at 11:45 and there is 1 volunteer assigned to it. The last shift ends at 20:00. Tomorrow the shifts run from 07:45 to 12:00 (the last time you are allowed to be on site). Plan accordingly.
Information. Here is some. More in our talk tomorrow @ 1830 in stage A. dashboard.emf.camp/
Grid power outage. Our street cabinet is running on UPS. Runtime ???. Telehandler operators are en route with a generator. Can we beat Western Power?
