We've got something for you
would love a new desktop agent super app
- lets me switch harnesses and models and multiplex across them
- makes it easy to move memory and context
- can orchestrate between models ( use Fable as a planner but a lower cost model for daily driver )
- can retroactively look at usage and optimize for cost / better results

GPT-5.6 Sol is now live in Emdash.
Compare it against Fable, GLM-5.2, Kimi-K2.7, or any other model.

Finally using Kimi K2.7 Code in Emdash.
Strong coding intelligence, 256k context, and concise reasoning make it especially interesting for long-running coding tasks.
Curious to see how it holds up against /goal runs with Grok and Codex.

Set your default agent and model for scheduled automation runs in the Emdash control center 🎛️
Coming to Emdash very soon.
Flexibility and independence from model providers matter a lot here.
Automations and scheduled tasks are becoming more and more common for the kind of work you find yourself assigning to agents over and over.
Once those are running at scale, defaulting to open models like GLM 5.2 or Kimi 2.7 makes a huge difference in cost.

Emdash crossed 1m github release asset downloads.
Grateful. Just getting started!

Super excited about this addition as more and more software development moves onto remote machines:
SSH port forwarding is now live in Emdash!
When a dev server starts on a remote machine, Emdash detects it, forwards the port locally, and gives you a clickable preview URL so you can review the app right inside the Emdash browser.

Automations in Emdash!
Alongside the in-app browser and many improvements around SSH forwarding, tmux, general UX and stability, v1.1.32 includes Automations.
Super useful for tasks you find yourself kicking agents off for over and over again.
Run any automation with any agent: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Qwen, or Hermes.

Bringing the in-app browser back to Emdash in v1.1.32!
Great for reviewing changes, browsing websites, or doing your emails :)
(Tested with one of my favorite websites, @stripepress.)
New in Emdash v1.1.32:
- Automations for recurring tasks in the background
- In-app browser for dev servers and web workflows
- Multiple GitHub account support
- Monday, Trello, and Plane issue integrations
- Drag files from the workspace tree into agent context
- Configurable context bar
- Faster Open In launcher flow for editors, terminals, and file managers
- New terminal setting: use Option as Meta on macOS
- Lots of improvements and fixes across SSH, tmux, worktrees, PR sync, automations, and agent provider hooks/flags

You can now connect multiple GitHub accounts to Emdash.
Use separate accounts for work and personal repositories, and choose which account each Emdash project should use.
Live in the next release.

Small improvement I’m very excited about:
You can now drag files from the file tree directly into the agent chat.
Shipping in the next Emdash release.
