I felt that the cowboy-esque feel of the song didn’t quite come through, so the orchestral version was a great opportunity to go fully down that avenue, with a little nod to those big cowboy films with killer soundtracks!
The song was written for Danny’s daughter Emily. The lyrics are very beautiful. I can’t wait for people to hear the full orchestral album in November. I hope you love it as much as I loved working on it. Mickey x

5hr round trip to see this gem in Weston-Super-Mare today. 13 years ago this man and his band unwittingly saved my life. They continue to enrich it everyday. Thankyou @dannymcnamara and @embrace .You mean everything to me xx

That is NOT them my friend! They used to just send out location coordinates, bring a ballon if anyone got lost, could be in the middle of a wood, amazing times, not many mobile phones then either. I’ll send you some Spotify links (if you use that?)

Thanks @dannymcnamara for an enlightening evening 😂 If you haven't got the new @embrace book folks, go and buy it. 📖
I got to thank Danny for speaking openly about his mental health. His podcasts resonate with me, and have helped many more 🫶 Have a listen x
