Albums of 2020 no 6. @embodimentband - "Palingenesis". Best death metal & one of the best metal full stop. Top 3 material, but the standard is so high. I'd hoped they'd match their brilliant live performances, but if anything they've taken it further. youtu.be/8VxU_Z-SFbg

I love finding some surprises and dark horse albums.
If you’re a fan of tech death, deathcore or anything heavy, please spin the new album Palingenesis by Embodiment. This thing is a beautiful blend of groove, technicality and just an onslaught of beautifully balanced brutality.
"Embodiment is a band not to be reckoned with. Deep, dark, powerful, lustful, and moving notes artfully played by each of the four members. Like a well-oiled machine, they work together precisely. I highly recommend this album to our readers"
