Narrator, "Nadia voted against a rape gang inquiry aiming to help those who bravely reported abuse but were ignored by the system."
Solidarity with every woman who bravely reported, endured the long wait for trial, and gave evidence in court against Russell Brand. Especially those who did not receive justice today.
Everyone with a basic understanding of the criminal justice system knows that just because the verdict was "not guilty", it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. All we know is that the jury could not be certain “beyond all reasonable doubt”.
I want to say directly to the victims: thank you and I believe you. Millions of us do.
I hope Bellyba uses his injury break to go on Rooney's appetite suppressing jabs. Munchbueno could do with them too.

The Spectator reports that the terrible Sayeeda Warsi is frontrunner for Labour’s "anti-Muslim hostility" tsar.
Sayeeda previously blamed Israel defending itself for Houthi terrorists attacking cargo ships.
She has attempted to downplay the link between race and religion in the Pakistani rape gangs. Even accusing others of whipping of "hate."
She supported the “coconut” slur being used against other ethnic minorities.
In 2006, she welcomed the election of Hamas.
We don’t need a tsar at all and certainly not one who is such a naive and toxic individual.

I found it hard to believe this could be true. But it is, of course telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

There is nothing socialist about a system of free movement that is used by multi-nationals to undermine wages. WATCH my Brexit speech today.

The Government is borrowing to create a "Wealth Fund". The self-delusion is off the scale.
UK Treasury confirms extra £20bn over five years for the so-called National Wealth Fund (£15bn) and the state-owned British Business Bank (£5bn), which lends to business.
Treasury claims this will support around 100,000 jobs by 2035 in AI, defence and green energy — a figure it has pretty much plucked out of thin air and will never really be tested because by 2035 everyone will have forgotten such a modest announcement.
Two takeaways:
Yet more government borrowing. It’s an addiction.
Illustrates government philosophy: growth will come from a bigger, more activist state. Ho hum.
Just checked into the hotel and there's something about the room number they've given us that is bugging me. I just can't think what it is.

Christopher Hitchens said it best “the most toxic form that religion takes is the Islamic form”
He didn’t lie….
A legally wedded Muslim couple from Bangladesh visited Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
The husband wanted a honeymoon in Nepal but the wife preferred an Umrah in Mecca, which has been a lifetime ambition for her.
During the Umrah, the couple got overwhelmed with joy, hugged each other and shared a kiss.
A Pakistani guy recorded the moment and shared it to the police.
The Islam authorities got hold of the video and had the young couple arrested.
Ordered their beheading.
This couple got beheaded with sword and the executioner shouted Allahu Akbar!
The bodies of the couple have been returned to Bangladesh in body bags.

In 2010, Polish workers cleaned the houses of British professionals. Today, Poland's GDP per capita sits above $43,000 in purchasing power parity terms, level with Spain and closing fast on France. That reversal took roughly one generation. This was deliberate policy, not luck.
Poland ran a flat tax on business income, kept labor markets comparatively flexible, and spent the 1990s dismantling the Soviet pricing apparatus faster than almost any neighbor. Capital read those signals immediately. Volkswagen, Samsung, and hundreds of smaller manufacturers moved production east. Warsaw became a financial hub, not a branch office.
The EU structural funds helped, obviously, pouring +-160 billion euros into Polish infrastructure between 2004 and 2020. Funds alone don't explain the difference. Ukraine received aid too. Poland built what mattered around the money: enforceable contracts, a functioning court system, and a bureaucracy that didn't simply steal the paperwork.
Respect property, enforce contracts, keep inflation credible, and capital flows toward you. Poland did roughly that for thirty years while Germany and France were busy building regulations that made hiring someone feel like adopting them legally.
The housekeepers became engineers, then managers, then founders. Warsaw startup valuations crossed 50 billion euros in aggregate by 2024. Polish engineers now earn salaries that make relocating to London feel irrational rather than mandatory.
Wealth is produced where producers are left alone to produce it. Poland left them alone just enough.
Another 10 years of this and people from the UK will be cleaning the houses of professionals in Poland.
The Premier League needs to stop this season becoming a right off just seven games in by immediately docking City 114 points for this season.
By coincidence 114 points is 3 points for every game they will play in the league.
