Anyone else find it funny that image diffusion models had such a hard time with hands, which human artists also notoriously have difficulty with?

Does anybody actually want comments in their code describing how the old code used to function? This is my biggest pet peeve with agents right now: "This used to use sha256 but was too slow" instead of "cityhash64 provides a fast hash since we aren't too worried about collisions"

Holy shit I can actually sit back, relax, and enjoy @ARCRaidersGame after work with the PvE mode

I find it hilarious that RuneScape prepared me for the pitfalls of modern society: -Scams -Pump and dumps -Market manipulation -Social engineering -Gambling It also taught me how progress compounds over long stretches of time. Solid game.

Perf win of the day: Claude Code CLI now uses 2x less CPU at p99. Bun's garbage collector was running on a fixed timer, so it would kick in mid-turn and steal CPU right when Claude Code was busiest. Now it waits until the process is idle.

THE GREAT LOOPS DEBATE is on @ianlivingstone and @GeoffreyHuntley take on @dexhorthy and a surprise guest to answer Do loops produce slop? Do we have the AI infra we need today to verify the work and track state? What tasks are right for loops? Main stage 7/2 @aiDotEngineer
The MCP debate last November at AIE Code was a ton of fun. Does anything feel worth debating at @aiDotEngineer WF? Last time this came together in under a week… So if you want it let’s do it. What should we debate?

Yet again I'm struck by how remarkably capable Claude Code is versus Claude.ai's desktop and web chat app. Even creative / brainstorming work is better accomplished via Claude Code. No hard, but I'm infinitely less frustrated steering Code than chat.

this is so funny because Apple literally put out an entire ad talking about how this won't happen: youtu.be/6K4eUO53-UE?t=277

I am a grown-ass man, but the @LEGO_Group "are you old enough to use this site?" popup always gets me off-track.
