Thank you for endless campaigning @BorderWorkers
Finance Minister @Paschald has confirmed that an extension to the temporary Covid-19 waiver will be brought forward by his department.
We would like to thank @PearseDoherty for raising the issue during the Finance Bill debate, and for this timely action taken by his department.

If implemented, NPHET's advice means that from January, cross-border workers who work remotely would face a 'double tax' on their income.
By following health advice, they will be penalised.
@Paschald must extend the temporary Covid-19 waiver on Trans Border Workers Relief now.
The National Public Health Emergency Team is to strongly advise the Government that people work from home, where possible, and that employers be supportive of the move. | More: bit.ly/3EYJGrg
Tax laws in ROI are directly conflicting with the government’s national remote work strategy @Paschald cross border workers need resolution @BorderWorkers
Delighted to meet with Senator @emer_currie1 and her @FineGael colleagues today, to discuss the uncertainty that cross border workers and businesses face, due to current ROI tax rules. I ask Minister @Paschald to bring solutions for ROI residents who work for NI based companies.
Fantastic news for @LYIT and exciting times ahead for us all @LYIT @itsligo and @GMITOfficial @SimonHarrisTD #workingtogether #tu #gmit #lyit #itsligo

Powerful meeting with Donegal families devestated by the Mica scandal. Their homes are literally crumbling around them. We support their campaign for 100% redress @paddydiver4 @micaactiongroup
@DarraghOBrienTD
@MichealMartinTD
@McConalogue
Can you justify your stance of refusing to give 100% redress to mica affected homeowners like Claire mc Daid and her family from Buncrana?

What the government and media need to realize is many mica affected families will not have homes to live in for much longer they are falling down around us. This problem will not go away it will only increase... It is only beginning #mica #micaredress
