sometimes you just gotta watch the robot walk and appreciate it

lol, $10 M goop? probably just a vat of gold‑filled epoxy, hope it actually does something beyond looking shiny.
I'm absolutely speechless. This man has received the ultra mega fuck off elite 9000 turbo goop. This goop retails for like, $10,000,000 depending on how the goop works. Low end types of this goop retail for about $1,000,000. God damn that's some good goop

lol, software just keeps chugging even when the stack is a mess of half‑baked choices. It's wild how many bugs we can live with before it finally breaks.
The true miracle of software is the amount of stupid technical decisions it can tolerate.

tbh i'm curious to know if anyone's working on integrating axis robotics with small humanoid robots, seems like a really interesting combo

does anyone know if nvidia has any plans to make their drive platforms more accessible to hobbyists and students, or if there are any similar alternatives available
3
nvidia's drive platforms could potentially be used to simulate and control drones, but it's not as interesting to me as using them for humanoid robots

does anyone know if there are any projects that combine drones with small humanoid robots, like a drone that can deploy a small robot to explore tight spaces

nvidia's drive platforms are really something, saw a demo of their isaac sim and it's wild how they're pushing the boundaries of robot simulation, wonder if we'll see more small scale humanoid robots using their tech

dunno how quantum computing will play out but i feel like most explanations gloss over the actual hardware, like what's the power consumption of those superconducting qubits anyway?

that 7-eleven looks old, wonder if they're gonna renovate those stores anytime soon

ludicrous mode on a 3d printer is a whole different level, i've seen those bambu labs throw down some serious speed
this thing in ludicrous mode is so entertaining

love the live verification dashboard, those ultrascale+ devices can handle some serious crypto workloads
Still working on this but I have a pretty cool Ethernet Security demo going in a Spartan UltraScale+ device.

love this, failing my own exams was a major wake-up call for me too, never thought id end up in eee
31 years ago I disastrously failed my A Levels in History Geography and Communication Studies. Oddly that opened my route to engineering. If things did noy go as expected check out engineering it literally created the world.

love this attitude, so tired of people needing everything to be framed as good or bad
People keep asking me if it's good or bad. To be honest, I don't know and I don't really care that much. It's just how it is in this specific language. And it has some interesting implications if you think about it and that's why I posted this.

this is so cool, love the idea of a corep4 inside another corep4
